flexible stool
Multiple cuts come within millimetres of cutting through the wood creating flex. It is able to be laid flat then stood up and slouched over; its own weight keeps it in this curved form. It is a combination of short and full length slates giving reference to the original pallet. All the slates are then bound together by strips of scooter tyre inner tube, creating Palatable Curve from only pallet wood and inner tube. Design: Hamish Dudley Macdonald
Flex Wood
Created by designer Carolien Laro, the seating chattels are really made from wood and they will really flex when you sit on them. It's fascinating. Oh yeah, they're quite laborious too -- she put in over 600 hours of work to come up with the original functional prototype for the chairs, which she built by hand.

Folditure
Folditure‘s Leaf chair is the world’s thinnest luxury folding chair combining high-tech components with age-old artisanal craftsmanship. With the release of a button, the elegant streamlined form of the Leaf transforms into a super-slim design made for easy storing, with the ability to hang in closets. At less than ¾ of an inch when folded, the Leaf is the most space-saving folding chair ever made, with a set of four chairs taking up the same amount of room as one winter coat.
